DFP Planning and Design will take your ideas from concept and bring them to the page – providing you with precise 3D models. We follow a six step process, and we will collaborate with you from start to finish. We want to ensure your ideas are covered, expertly designed, and built with confidence.
Our Six Step Process
1. Initial Review
The initial interview is essential to making sure your ideas are developed onto the page correctly. Bring all of your ideas, samples, photos—anything that will help you communicate what you’re envisioning as well as possible.
2. Preliminary Design
Once we have collected your ideas and needs, our designers will begin to create a plan for the design of your home. We can discuss any revisions that you might want us to make during this process before giving approval on anything final.
3. Review & Revise
We will send you a PDF of your preliminary design for review. Feel free to inspect it thoroughly and make notes of any changes that you’d like us to incorporate along the way.
4. Preliminary Construction Plans
Once the design is approved, we will create a complete set of construction plans for your project. We can provide both 2D and 3D house plans.
5. Final Review & Revise
We will provide another version of the PDF for your final review and revision.
6. Final Construction Plans
Final construction plans are reviewed by other architects before the construction crew begins work. At this stage, we ensure that any changes you may have made in the last stages of architectural design are incorporated into your final plans.
